Resuming the Schedule

Greetings from theRubicon! If you checked out our site recently you will have noticed there has been no new content for the last three weeks. Not that we’ve been in retreat…but we’ve discovered that real world logistics don’t make it easy to operate an on-line publication based in two continents.

So, with another allusion to the Roman Empire, our editorial team has now become a triumvirate.

Our new Technical Editor, Andrea Demchuk, is based in Toronto. A social policy researcher by profession, Andrea and her school-age son have made 614 Regent Park their home church for just over a year. She will be managing much of the technical aspect of theRubicon until sufficient local infrastucture is available for John McAlister to run the magazine from Africa.

So starting this Wednesday, May 24th, we’ll begin posting your submissions, two times this week (it’s a holiday in Canada this Monday!) and three times each week after that. And keep sending material to talkback@therubicon.org . Ideally we’d like pieces between 800-2500 words, but if you’d like to send longer pieces for us to pare down, feel free.
