RUBICONOGRAPHY

In April 2006 theRubicon first appeared as an online journal of opinion and commentary.

Today it is becoming a global portal for people engaged with the mission of The Salvation Army. theRubicon provides a gathering place where opinion and discussion, education and disagreement, community and common cause, news and calls to action can find a venue for expression.

Our original declaration was: challenge, contradict, confirm, converse. We continue to affirm these operating principles but with the January 2009 relaunch of theRubicon as a portal we’ve added the key word - convey - since we now also provide news.

theRubicon is run by volunteers.
