Strange ideas…
Areopagus is the audio feature of theRubicon.
These audio presentations are part of the engagement found in written form on theRubicon. You’ll find interviews, profiles, speeches/lectures… and eventually a regular audio magazine.
You can listen online by clicking on the arrow in an Areopagus podcast post – no special software is required. You can also listen and download each episode at the iTunes store… where the Areopagus podcast section is available free-of-charge.
Areopagus is a place in the Bible where the apostle Paul crossed his own Rubicon by challenging and contradicting people who were thoroughly modern and sated; people who were faced with so many options they didn’t know how to choose or how best to live. Before they drove him out, Athenians accused Paul of “bringing some strange ideas to our ears.” We do the same thing in the electronic echo chamber of the internet… today’s Areopagus.
